IT Support Engineer – Tier 2 Full Time

Description

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our client’s team as a Tier 2 Support Engineer. As a Tier 2 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users, resolving complex IT issues, and escalating problems when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users
• Resolve complex IT issues and provide solutions
• Collaborate with Tier 1 support team to escalate and resolve problems
• Create and maintain documentation for support processes and procedures
• Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance
• Administer and maintain company’s IT infrastructure and systems
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data is properly secured
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in IT support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in IT support
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent
  experience).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with network protocols, hardware, and configurations.
• Familiarity with cloud services.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., A+, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator)
