Hydraulic Fitter – Mining Industry – R700K – R500K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client is a great mining company in Northern Cape, which is urgently seeking the expertise of a Hydraulic Fitter to join their team in Kuruman.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fitting work which supports maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and installations of mechanical equipment per work orders and breakdown work orders.
• Consider direct environment risks.
• Complete daily inspection checklists for tools, equipment and work areas.
• Report problems and make recommendations to Supervisors.
• Maintain workshop area, equipment, tools and toolbox.
• Perform instructions as per work orders and job cards.

 
Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate
• 5 years’ experience on Drill rigs and Roof bolters in an underground environment
• 3 years’ post apprentice fitter/diesel mechanic experience
