Job Title: Footwear and Accessories Buyer

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

A leading retail company is looking for an experienced Footwear and Accessories Buyer with strong experience in retail or clothing manufacturing to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and innovative professional to drive product strategy by interpreting trends, conceptualizing product, and working fashion aspects into a cohesive overall strategy. If you have 6 to 8 years of experience as a buyer and a passion for footwear and accessories, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Interpret current and future fashion trends.
• Conceptualize new products based on market trends and brand strategy.
• Develop and work individual fashion aspects into an overall product strategy.
• Ensure the practical delivery of the product strategy at a retail level.
• Apply exceptional technical merchandising skills to all tasks.

Requirements:

• 6 to 8 years of proven experience as a Buyer in Accessories or Footwear.
• A relevant tertiary qualification is required.
• Experience gained in either a retail or clothing manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to interpret trends and conceptualize product.
• Exceptional technical merchandising skills.
• Energy, innovative approach, and passion for product.
