Fitter – Feeds FMCG Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently hiring a skilled Fitter to join our client’s team. Our client is a leading manufacturing company that specializes in the production of industrial equipment. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install machinery and equipment according to specifications
• Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance tasks
• Dismantle and remove faulty equipment and replace defective parts
• Adjust and align mechanical components and machinery
• Repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues and breakdowns
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter
• At least 3 years of experience as a Fitter in a FMCG manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and precision
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license

• Salary: negotiable
