Fitter Full Time

Description

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Fitter to join our client’s team based in the North West province.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment
• Conduct inspections and identify faulty components
• Replace or repair defective parts
• Perform routine maintenance tasks as required
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repairs of manufacturing equipment
• Sound knowledge of mechanical systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Valid driver’s license
