Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer – Renewable Energy Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established renewable energy firm in South Africa with offices nationwide, is currently looking to hire an ambitious and innovative Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer who can join their successful team at their head office in Cape Town.  

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the company’s projects, contributing to the design,

implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems. They are looking for a forward-thinking individual with a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Project planning and scheduling
• Design and implementation of electrical systems
• Integration of renewable energy technologies
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, to achieve project goals
• Conduct technical evaluations and feasibility studies
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
• Provide technical support during the project lifecycle
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
• Proven experience in electrical engineering projects
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Experience in renewable energy projects
• Familiarity with PV Plant Engineering Design
• Knowledge of mechatronics principles
• Knowledge of SANS-10142-1
• Project management skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
• Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

Benefits:

Salary:  R450K – R650K CTC per annum, negotiable
