Earthworks Foreman – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a renowned and well established construction company in South Africa is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Earthworks Foreman to supervise and coordinate all on-site earthworks operations for a major roads project in Limpopo.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing excavation, bulk earthworks, layer works, and related activities, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar
• Relevant technical certification or training in civil construction/earthworks will be advantageous
• Between 5 and 10 years’ experience in road construction, with at least 3 years in an earthworks foreman role
• Strong knowledge of road layerworks specifications, materials, and construction techniques
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings and setting-out information
• Familiarity with earthworks testing requirements and quality control standards
• Sound knowledge of construction plant operations and capabilities
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
