A leading food manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Demand Fulfilment professional with strong organisational and operational skills. The role involves managing the end-to-end order fulfilment process, ensuring timely delivery of products, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and coordinating effectively across departments to resolve operational challenges while supporting high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full order fulfilment process including order entry, administration, and distribution.
Receive, process, and complete orders through to invoicing while maintaining customer service standards.
Verify and resolve all debtor claims and ensure compliance with budgeted controls.
Plan, schedule, and track warehouse deliveries, ensuring stock levels are maintained and damaged or expired stock is managed.
Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requirements, preparing all necessary documentation.
Ensure on-time delivery and achievement of customer service targets while optimizing distribution costs.
Support sales and marketing teams to meet sales and profit objectives.
Oversee third-party logistics provider performance.
Plan, schedule, and track export shipments, completing all required export documentation.
Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 pass.
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
