Credit Analyst Full Time

Description

RPO’s client in the financial services sector is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Credit Analyst to join their team in Johannesburg. The Credit Analyst will play a crucial role in evaluating customer creditworthiness by thoroughly analysing financial data and assessing the likelihood of borrowers fulfilling their financial obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of existing and prospective clients.
  • Analyse financial transactions and credit histories on a case-by-case basis, including applications, statements, balance sheets, and legal documents.
  • Provide a comprehensive and informative perspective on investment outlooks.
  • Assess the level of risk associated with each credit evaluation.
  • Thoroughly analyse data and generate clear, objective reports.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies and guidelines.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst in the banking sector
  • Proficient in analysing cash flows, leverage, collateral, and customer strength
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
