RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team in Benoni, Gauteng.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving commercial strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a team to meet profitability and sales goals within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the commercial team to achieve business objectives
Oversee and grow key account relationships
Develop and implement sales and profitability plans
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity
Manage sales budgets and drive revenue targets
Negotiate price increases with clients
Lead projects and provide category leadership across the business
Coordinate planning activities across departments to align with business goals
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Retail Management, Technology, or a relevant tertiary qualification (minimum 3 years)
8+ years of experience in account management
Proven experience in the food industry
Experience managing and leading teams
Retail experience is advantageous
Proficient in MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
