Job Title: Commercial Manager

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing operations of the packaging company in Pinetown. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development within the packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the packaging industry
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and partners
• Present products and services to potential clients and partners
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products
• Monitor and analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities and threats
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
• Lead and motivate a team of sales and marketing professionals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the packaging industry
• Strong understanding of market trends and competition
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Ability to lead and motivate a team of professionals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
