A dynamic financial services company is looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Growth Specialist with strong networking ability and a passion for relationship-driven business development within the short-term insurance sector.
Responsibilities:
• Generate new commercial insurance opportunities through networking and relationship building
• Identify and engage with business owners, directors, and key decision makers
• Build and maintain strong referral networks within the business community
• Attend networking events, industry functions, and community gatherings
• Develop partnerships with professionals such as accountants, attorneys, and property specialists
• Arrange and attend meetings with prospective commercial clients
• Present and introduce suitable insurance solutions to potential clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to structure appropriate insurance offerings
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
• Maintain consistent field activity and market presence
Requirements:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• RE5 qualification (preferred)
• NQF 4 in Short-Term Insurance (preferred)
• Class of Business – Short-Term Insurance (preferred)
• Up-to-date CPD compliance (preferred)
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
• Strong networking and relationship-building ability
• Experience in commercial insurance sales or business development (advantageous)
• Proven track record of generating leads and new business
• Confident, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
