Civil Construction Manager (Pr CM) – Construction Industry Contract

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established civil contractor in Gauteng, is currently seeking a qualified Civil Construction Manager who can join their team on one of their latest projects in the Ladysmith area in KwaZulu-Natal as soon as possible. 

The successful incumbent will be based on site for the duration of the project and will be responsible for supervising construction projects, managing budgets, ensuring construction safety, and overseeing project control and coordination.  The duration of contract is approximately 36 months.

Requirements:

• BSc/BEng or BTech degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 15 years’ experience in a construction management capacity
• Pr CM registration with SACPCMP essential/non-negotiable
• Extensive experience in roads, civil works, and bulk earthworks, etc.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, CCS
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
