Winder Fitter Technician – Mining Industry – R850K – R600K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Winder Fitter Technician in Kuruman, Northern Cape

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control production processes within area of responsibility.
• Assist with and monitor preventative and breakdown maintenance during shift.
• Report mechanical breakdowns in time.
• Ensure safe and effective operation of the shaft winder for the haulage of ore, persons and materials during a shift. Undertaking maintenance, fault finding and repairs of winders.
• Conduct fitting work which supports maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and installations of mechanical equipment per work orders and breakdown work orders. Consider direct environment risks.
• Complete daily inspection checklists for tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Report problems and make recommendations to Supervisors.
• Adhere to maintenance and production schedules. Ensure optimised process flow. Identify constraints.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Fitter Trade Test Certificate
• 5 Years Experience in winders as fitter within mining environment.
