RPO Recruitment’s client are currently seeking a Warehouse and Operations Manager to join their growing electronic retail company in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and optimizing efficiency in order to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement warehouse operational policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels are maintained
• Coordinate and oversee the receiving, storage, and shipping of products
• Monitor and improve warehouse efficiency and productivity
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
• Analyze data and identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to optimize product procurement and delivery timelines
• Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on warehouse performance and KPIs

Requirements:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the electronic retail industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in inventory management software and systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
