Description
RPO Recruitment is currently working with a leading financial services company in Cape Town who is seeking a Tax Compliance Officer to join their team. As a Tax Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with tax regulations and managing all tax-related activities. This includes preparing and filing tax returns, assisting with tax audits, and providing guidance on tax planning and optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Knowledge of income tax laws and regulations
- Experience with tax software and e-filing systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in personal tax, company tax, and trust tax is a plus
- Experience in Company Tax
- Experience in Personal Tax
- Experience in Trust and Individual Tax
- Must have 3-5 years Tax experience
- Must have the knowledge of Income Tax Act and Tax Administration Act
- Knowledge of E-filing
- Be able to work well under pressure and manage deadlines as required by SARS
Benefits
- Salary: R480 – 600K per annum
