Structural Draughtsperson – Consulting Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a dynamic multi-disciplinary consulting firm in Durban is seeking a permanent Structural Engineering Draughtsperson with expertise in Concrete Reinforcement Detailing to join their team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting structural engineering projects within the building services sector, focusing on accurate reinforcement detailing and high-quality drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce structural drawings and concrete reinforcement schedules in accordance with company QMS
• Coordinate structural drawings with professional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist with multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output

Requirements:

• Diploma in Draughting (advantageous).
• 5+ years of experience in structural draughting, with a strong emphasis on concrete reinforcement detailing.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for structural draughting.
• Solid understanding of structural systems and quality management systems (QMS).
• Comprehensive knowledge of drawing standards.
• Ability to produce precise structural drawings and reinforcement schedules aligned with QMS standards.
• Strong coordination skills to work effectively with professional teams.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects without compromising quality.
