Senior Tax Advisor – Law Firm – R600K – R550K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Advisor to join their growing team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance on complex tax matters, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities:

• Interpret and advise on complex tax regulations and laws
• Research tax matters and prepare and file tax returns for clients
• Create tax plans that align with business goals and objectives
• Oversee tax audits and provide support during litigation
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Analyze financial data to identify potential tax-saving opportunities
• Keep abreast of changing tax laws and policies to ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a tax advisor
• Bachelor’s degree in law, accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CA (SA) or equivalent qualifications
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound judgment and decision-making ability
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
