Senior Surveyor Full Time

A well established mine based in the Limpopo Province has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Surveyor. The successful candidate will be responsible to conduct strategic, main and stope surveys and measurements. If this sounds like you, apply now!

Responsibilities:

• General survey work as prescribed by the Survey COP
• Ensuring that survey plans comply with legal requirements
• Capturing measuring data on Mine RP and DESWIK systems
• Must be able to use WINMINOP
• Competent in the use of Excel and MS Word
• Performing general survey administration as required
• Co-ordinating, monitoring, coaching and development of the team

Requirements:

• Matric essential
• National Diploma in Mine Surveying essential
• Advanced Mine Surveying certificate essential
• Advance evaluation advantageous
• 3 – 5 years’ experience underground hard rock mining experience as a Surveyor is essential
• 3 – 5 years’ experience preferably in a conventional narrow reef mining environment
• Computer literacy – Mine RP, WINMINOP, DESWIK and MS Office is essential
• Valid medical certificate or able to obtain one
