RPO Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Professional Nurse ICU Qualified to join our client’s healthcare team in Plettenberg Bay. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to provide high-quality care in a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including administering medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Operate and maintain ICU equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards.
• Provide guidance and support to junior nursing staff.
• Uphold infection control policies and maintain a safe clinical environment.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing with ICU specialization.
• Must have the Critical Care Diploma to qualify.
• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Proven experience in an ICU setting.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
