Senior New Product Developer – FMCG Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading FMCG company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior New Product Developer to join their team. As a Senior New Product Developer, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and developing new products in the fast-paced FMCG industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation to commercialization
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and market opportunities
• Create innovative and commercially viable product concepts and formulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to ensure successful product launches
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet project goals and deadlines
• Oversee sensory evaluations and product testing to ensure quality and consistency
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in product development
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in new product development, preferably in the FMCG industry
• Proven track record of successfully launching new products
• Strong knowledge of food ingredients, formulations, and food processing techniques
• Experience in consumer research and market analysis
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and product development software
