Senior Bridge Engineer Full Time

We are looking for an innovative Bridge Engineer to design, develop and construct a huge range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting bridges to determine their structural integrity and recommending repairs
• Demonstrated experience in managing road and bridge projects and meeting delivery requirements
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings for final design, sketch plans and presentations for several bridge and highway projects.
• Participate in pavement, drainage, and right-of-way maintenance activities alongside superintendents and foremen.
• Coordinates and oversees technical approvals;
• Presents and/or assists at public presentations on technical/design issues;

Requirements

• BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in Finite Element Design Software such as Revit, Sofistik, Prokon, AutoCAD
• Professional registration with ECSA is compulsory
• Over 15 years’ of extensive experience in the design of bridges
• Masters degree advantageous
