Section Engineer Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, currently seeking a skilled and experienced Section Engineer to join our team. As a Section Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of mining projects, focusing on safety, efficiency, and productivity. Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure equipment availability and reliability
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and plans
• Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for optimization
• Oversee the training and development of engineering personnel
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• GCC Mines and Works
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Section Engineer in an Open Cast mining environment
• Proven Experience with Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
• Strong knowledge of mining regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness to work in the Northern Cape
