RPO’s client, an established audit practice in Pretoria is looking to employ a bright and independent trainee who wants to qualify as a Chartered Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Completing all tasks necessary to gain sufficient exposure to the SAICA Training Program
- Competencies and related documentation throughout traineeship to a SAICA degree of expertise.
- Plan, execute and finalise audits. This includes but is not limited to visiting client premises,
- Requesting and working through client documentation, and liaising with clients.
- Preparation of the annual financial statements within the required framework.
- Preparation of taxation calculations for clients.
- Verification of client information and claims.
- Any other related tasks
Requirements:
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be very comfortable with, and have a general understanding of, computers and software, with
- an ability to learn new software quickly.
- Have a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Experience with Draftworx, Xero, and Pastel is
- advantageous but not required.
- Have solid analytical ability and work well under pressure while maintaining high levels of
- accuracy and quality of work.
- Be deadline-driven and able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Have a strong desire to learn and develop in the position in line with furthering your traineeship.
- Great bill of health, both physically and mentally.
- Be studying towards or possessing a BCom Degree or similar qualification.
- Valid Driver’s license (will be a great advantage) and own reliable transport.
