Quantity Surveying Assistant – R240K – R216K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established PQS firm in the Western Cape, is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Cape Town as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Final Account verification (check contractor quotations against contract rates)
  • Set up enquiry BOQ’s from a scope of work
  • Adjudication of tenders
  • Prepare Contract BOQ’s
  • Administer Contract Variation Orders
  • Manage enquiries for tender purposes
  • Conduct site measures
  • Process interim payments
  • Prepare engineering estimates
  • Perform cost reporting
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a National Diploma in Building/BTech in Quantity Surveying or similar/higher
  • Over 3 years’ experience in the QS consulting or construction industry
  • Proficiency in WinQS, DimX, SAP, MS Office
  • Attention to detail, deadline-driven and ability to work within a team
  • Willingness to learn and build on experience
  • Candidate/Professional QS registration with SACQSP
Benefits:
Salary: R216K – R240K CTC per annum, negotiable
