Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

RPO Recruitment’s client are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join their team at their food manufacturing facility in Cato Ridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and food safety management, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality standards in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
• Manage the quality assurance team and provide leadership and guidance to ensure all quality objectives are met
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the manufacturing process to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure that raw materials and finished products meet quality specifications
• Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on quality assurance best practices
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality assurance activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance management in a food manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (ISO 22000, HACCP)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
• Professional certification in food safety (e.g. SQF, BRC) is a plus
