Principal Geometric Design Engineer- Consulting Industry Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Geometric Design Engineer to join a respected and forward-thinking engineering consultancy at their Cape Town office.

Minimum Requirements:

• Eng or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a relevant M.Eng preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer or Technologist with ECSA.
• Extensive experience in geometric road design and transport engineering.
• Proficient in Civil 3D, MS Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with Civil Designer, AutoCAD, AutoTURN, HDM-4, Trasoft, and MS Project is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of GCC2010, COLTO, and SANS1200 standards.
• Prior project experience with SANRAL or Western Cape Government is highly desirable.
• Lead geometric design on urban and rural roads, intersections, interchanges, and roundabouts.
• Oversee technical reports, cost estimates, and contract documentation.
