Plant Manager – Construction Industry Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a prominent civil and building contractor in the Western Cape, is currently on the lookout for a qualified Plant Manager to join their dynamic team in Cape Town as soon as possible.

• Responsibilities:
• Overseeing daily operations of production plant and developing strategies to improve efficiencies and costs
• Monitor and report on machine usages and reporting
• Play a role in determining future needs and fit for purpose plant to meet production outputs
• Lead a workshop team
• Be assisted by Workshop Manager and workshop admin team and work closely with the Management team

Requirements:

• Diploma or BTech degree in Logistics/Fleet Management or similar
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Plant Manager position within a Civil Engineering or Construction environment
• Valid driver’s license and own transport
