Plant Manager Full Time

A great mining company in Rustenburg, North West is seeking the expertise of a Plant Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Effective operation of the plant as an effective business unit to an agreed business plan and process parameters.
• Develop a 2-5 years resource and mining strategy and coordinate ore and services to the plant.
• Responsible for compilation and control of production, quality and cost budgets.
• Creating a high-performing team and a conducive employee relations climate – people management (HR and IR) in a unionized environment.
• Ensures adherence to legislative requirements and the company’s Health and Safety Standards.
• Financial Management (operational and capital cost budgets)
• Responsible for research and development.
• Maintain a good relationship with the clients at host-mine and liaise on all relevant plant issues.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Chemical or Metallurgy Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
• 10 – 12 years’ experience in plant mining environment
• 5 years in supervisory / management position
