We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected organisation seeking a Pavement Engineer to join their Roads Department in a permanent capacity. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven engineering professional to take on a specialist design and project lead role in Cape Town
Key Requirements:
- Registered professional in civil engineering or equivalent (or eligible for registration and ready to submit).
- Minimum qualification: BTech in Civil Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in pavement design and road infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Rubicon and working knowledge of HDM-4 is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to start immediately or within one month.
- Lead the design and implementation of pavement-related projects.
- Apply sound engineering principles in line with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
- Provide technical input and mentorship to junior team members.
