Mining Superintendent – Mining Industry – R1.3mil – R1.1mil Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s Client is urgently seeking the expertise of an Mining Superintendent in the Northern Cape. The successful incumbent will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and reporting activities concerning production to ensure throughput as per the mining plan.

Responsibilities:

• Must have Grade 12;
• BSc/B.Tech. Mining Engineering (NQF7);
• Blasting certificate mandatory;
• Mine Overseer certificate will be added advantage;
• At least 8 years’ relevant experience of mine engineering and planning in open-pit surface operations;
• Be familiar with Mining / Manufacturing safety regulations;
• To be able to work with minimum supervision;
• Must have South African driver’s license

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering
• GCC Mine Managers Certificate
• Blasting Certificate Opencast
• 5 Years Management Experience in a Mining Environment (Required)
• 7 Years Operation in a Hard Rock Opencast Mining Environment (Required)
• Valid Code B Driving License (Required
