Mining Manager Executive – Mining Industry – R4Mil – R2Mil Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Mining Manager Executive in the Gauteng Province. This exciting role will provide guidance and strategic direction across the Ferrous operations and ensure that the Ferrous business plan optimally contributes to the overall success of the organisation and its shareholders’ expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and strategic direction across Ferrous operations.
• Ensure that the Ferrous business plan optimally contributes to the overall success of and its shareholders’ expectations.
• Develop long-term business values and operational excellence for the operations.
• Ensure that appropriate good corporate governance and appropriate management systems are in place and continuously improved.
• Lead and manage the operational management teams to ensure that objectives and outputs of ARM Ferrous and operations are optimally met.
• Ensure optimal resources utilisation and exploitation of Ferrous operations.
• Custodian of good stakeholder relations across Ferrous. Personal Attributes:

Requirements:

• BSc Mining Engineering or Metallurgy or Natural Science.
• Minimum 15 years mining experience.
• Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competence (MMC) essential.
• 5 – 10 Senior management experience.
