Millwright Full Time

A well-known client of ours in Durban is looking for an experienced Millwright to join their team.

Qualifications

• Trade tested Artisan (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.

Experience

• 5 years’ experience as a Millwright in an Automotive production environment

Job Requirements

• Ability to use a wide variety of tools, from hammers and wrenches to blowtorches and measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic clutch systems.
• Rigging of large machine components.
• Safety control circuits,
• Ability to strip out seized bearings and bushes.
• Ability to strip out large components.
• Full imperial and metric tool kits.
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents to put machinery together.
• Ability to follow a problem to the source and solve the issue.
• Ability to use a wide variety of electrical tools, wiring and creating electrical drawings.

It is crucial that you have stamping/press/welding experience and a background.
