RPO Recruitment’s client, a top multi-disciplinary consulting firm with offices across SA, is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to join their Structural Department in Durban as soon as possible.
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng degree in Civil Engineering
- Pr Eng registration with ECSA
- Minimum 15 years’ extensive experience with at least 5 years’ post-professional registration experience in the preparation of detailed designs of reinforced concrete, steel and timber structures, producing AutoCAD and Revit structural engineering drawings and models, producing reinforcement drawings and bending schedules, conducting site inspections, preparing reports and tender documentation, and managing multi-disciplinary teams and junior staff
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Prokon, and Prokon SUMO modelling
- Proficiency in MS Projects advantageous
