Industrial Relations Officer Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Officer to join their team. As an Industrial Relations Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations. Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle all employee grievances and disciplinary actions
• Collaborate with management and HR to implement effective employee relations strategies
• Provide advice and guidance to employees and management on labor laws, regulations, and company policies
• Lead negotiations and discussions with employee representatives and unions
• Monitor and ensure compliance with labor legislation and collective bargaining agreements
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct
• Develop and review company policies and procedures related to industrial relations
• Facilitate and participate in mediation and arbitration processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as an Industrial Relations Officer or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employee representatives and unions
• Experience in conflict resolution and dispute management
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems
• Valid drivers license
