Fitter & Turner – Packaging / FMCG Full Time

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Fitter & Turner to join our client in the Packaging Industry’s team. Our client is a reputable company in need of a dedicated and experienced Fitter & Turner to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment in their workshop.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
• Fabricate components for breakdowns and planned maintenance tasks
• Operate and maintain precision measuring equipment
• Setup and operate various machines, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Perform drilling and machining tasks
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the workshop
• Adhere to safety and quality standards

• Grade 12
• N4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
• Fitter & Turner Trade Test Certificate
• 3 – 5 years of experience in a Packaging / FMCG environment
• Strong knowledge and experience in operating machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and quality

• Salary: R100 per hour
