Financial Software Tester Full Time

RPO’s client is seeking a skilled Financial Software Tester to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that financial software systems meet quality standards, with a focus on functionality, security, and performance. This role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to validate software solutions, ensuring they meet the business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for financial software.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, log, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct risk assessments and report on software stability.
• Automate test processes where applicable to enhance testing efficiency.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide feedback on system usability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for financial software.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on financial systems.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
