Finance Business Partner Full Time NEW

A leading industrial minerals company is looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner with strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, business analytics, and financial reporting. The role focuses on driving the Business Partnering function across the group and providing insights to support strategic decision-making within a production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and manage budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and insights to support business decisions
• Continuously improve budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assess and validate CAPEX feasibility and other project initiatives
• Manage variable product cost processes, including stock, stores, and raw material valuation and reconciliation
• Analyse business results and proactively investigate variances to plan, liaising with key site contacts
• Provide decision and project support for Finance, Site Management, Operations, and Senior Management
• Identify cost improvement opportunities across sites and monitor operating unit performance
• Review and sign off financial statements and internal controls
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including financial models and analytical assessments
• Assess and analyse new business opportunities, including process implementation

Requirements:

• BCom in Accounting or Financial Management, or Honours equivalent (CIMA and/or CA(SA) advantageous)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a production environment
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
• Experience with Business Intelligence software (IBM Cognos, IBM TM1) is beneficial
• Willingness to travel to all company operations
