RPO Recruitment’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of an Electrician in Gauteng. The successful candidate will ensure that repairs, legal inspections and maintenance of plant and other equipment. The role will also be responsible for conveyor maintenance, light circuit’s fault finding, 11 kv switching, pollution control dam pump station maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical legal inspections
- MCC maintenance
- E/L testing
- General Electrical maintenance
- Light circuit’s fault finding
- Panel wiring
- Panel fault finding
- Conveyor maintenance
- Generator fault finding
- Transformer maintenance
- 11 KV switching
- Lighting plant maintenance
- Pollution control dam pump station maintenance
- River pump station maintenance
- Farm dam submersible pump maintenance
- Bronkhorstspruit Siding electrical infostructure maintenance
- Monthly and quarterly tagging of electrical equipment
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Electrician Trade Test
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license
- Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Understanding of Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA)
- Physically fit and able to pass a medical/fitness test
- Medium voltage training
- 3 years experience in the mining industry
- Medium voltage switching
