RPO Recruitment’s client is looking for a Delivery Manager to join their team in Sandton.
The successful candidate will lead a high-performing technical team to deliver critical IT services and systems. This senior role focuses on strategic delivery, team performance, vendor management, and agile practices to ensure solutions are implemented on time, within budget, and aligned with business priorities.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage cross-functional teams of Business Analysts, Developers, and Testers to deliver business-critical projects and IT services.
Drive project delivery using Agile and DevOps practices, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Align delivery initiatives with business and IT strategy through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and resource allocation.
Oversee financial planning and management, including budget development, procurement, and software license compliance.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, product owners, and vendors.
Manage performance, development, and coaching of team members to improve capability and efficiency.
Ensure continuous improvement in delivery processes, including sprint planning, release management, and automation adoption.
Contribute to the IT strategy by managing technology lifecycle planning and supporting innovation initiatives such as AI/ML.
Requirements:
Relevant degree in Information Technology or Business-related field; certification in Agile (CSM/CSP, SAFe) preferred.
3–5 years’ experience in a senior technical leadership role with multi-disciplinary team management.
Proven track record in budget, performance, and vendor management.
Experience working with executive-level stakeholders across multiple business areas.
Strong understanding of Agile, Cloud platforms, full stack development, and emerging technologies like AI and Machine Learning.
