Controller – Logistics Industry – Gauteng Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a detail-oriented Controller to join our client’s dynamic logistics team in Centurion, Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with proven experience in Zimbabwean exports to manage and oversee all cross-border operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and tracking shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining meticulous documentation. Fluency in Shona is essential for communication with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all export processes to Zimbabwe, ensuring compliance with customs and border regulations
• Coordinate logistics with transporters, clearing agents, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries
• Monitor and track shipments, proactively addressing delays or disruptions
• Prepare, verify, and maintain all export documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs declarations)
• Liaise with Zimbabwean authorities, clients, and partners
• Stay current with changes in export legislation and international trade policies
• Provide export performance reports and operational insights to management
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and relevant legal requirements

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (advantageous)
• Hands-on experience managing exports to Zimbabwe
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures and cross-border trade compliance
• Exceptional coordination, organizational, and communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent documentation management
• Fluent in Shona (essential)
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics management systems
