Clinical Facilitator – Durban Full Time

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Facilitator – Operating Room to join our client’s team in Durban. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse with a strong background in theatre nursing to play a key role in supporting the education, development, and clinical guidance of nursing staff within the operating room. Responsibilities

• Facilitate clinical training and education programs for theatre nursing staff
• Ensure evidence-based practices are implemented and maintained in the operating room
• Support the orientation and onboarding of new staff in the theatre environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify training needs and implement development plans
• Conduct assessments and evaluations of staff performance and competencies
• Promote best practices and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
• Provide hands-on support in complex surgical procedures when required

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse
• Post-basic qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing Science is essential
• A qualification in Nursing Education will be advantageous
• Proven experience in an Operating Room/Theatre environment
• Previous experience as a Clinical Facilitator or in a training/mentorship role preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching, continuous learning, and clinical excellence
