RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading civil engineering consulting firm in Pretoria, is looking to appoint a skilled Civil Technologist to act as a Civil Designer/Modeller and make a meaningful contribution to their civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently model bulk earthworks, roads, and pipe networks in Civil 3D, including projects on challenging sites with steep slopes or space constraints
- Draught accurate civil engineering designs for a variety of infrastructure projects
- Assist team members with technical guidance and support as required
- Prepare and reproduce plans, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Issue and file plans in accordance with company standards
- Perform any additional tasks delegated by a supervisor
- Work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Requirements:
- BTech in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in civil design and modelling
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a larger team
- Motivated, ambitious, and solution-focused with a positive attitude
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of proficiency in Civil 3D
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
