Civil Design Engineer/Technologist – R600K – R420K Full Time

RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established civil engineering consulting engineering firm in KwaZulu-Natal, is currently seeking to employ a dedicated and hardworking Civil Design Engineer or Technologist who can contribute positively towards the already impressive achievements of their successful team in Durban.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptual and Detailed Design, Documentation and Contract Administration of services for civil infrastructure projects including but not limited to earthworks, roads, stormwater reticulation, sewer reticulation, and water reticulation
  • The preparation of feasibility reports
  • Attending meetings with clients and stakeholders as and when required
  • Assist with the implementation of medium to large sized projects within technical standards, quality, budgets, and time frames.
  • Ensure effectiveness, quality, and profitability of completed projects including project follow-up, to monitor project deliverables and client satisfaction levels.
  • Site supervision as and when required
  • Contribute to the preparation of project reports and develop proficiency in technical report writing
  • Deliver high quality civil engineering design, drafting and reports in an efficient and effective manner
Requirements:
  • BSc/BEng or BTech degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years’ civil engineering design experience in a
  • consulting environment
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bill, and MS Office essential
  • Candidate or professional registration with ECSA
  • Well-presented and confident
Benefits:
Salary: R420K – R600K CTC per annum, negotiable
