Job Title: Accountant

Location: Kroonstad, Free State

A leading company is looking for an Accountant with strong experience in financial reporting and analysis to join their team in Kroonstad, Free State. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated accounting professional to drive financial accuracy and compliance by managing financial records, preparing statements, and ensuring adherence to accounting principles. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular financial audits and prepare reports.
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
• Process payroll, invoices, and expense reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Provide financial advice and support to management.

Requirements:

• Accounting Degree and completed articles.
• Proven experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, SAP, Xero).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
