RPO Recruitment’s client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Crusher Manager in Northern Cape
Responsibilities
- Compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies
- Initiate Crushing and screening processes as set out in the mine plan
- Oversee loading and hauling from the crushing pad
- Monitor capacity levels and identify standards
- Assess production performance daily, ensure production targets are met
- Assist with planned maintenance schedules and resource allocation
- Supply Management with relevant information on machine breakdowns, services and performance
- Over inspections on planned maintenance work should be monitored
- Be responsible for any and all DMRE visits, audits and inspections conducted on site
- Take responsibility for the overall crushing function and the integration with all other business units
- Sound knowledge and understanding of all relevant procedures and instructions
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Degree in Engineering
- Trade Test Certificate
- 10 years’ management experience
- Experience on jaw and cone crushing and screening machinery in an open cast mining environment
