RPO Recruitment’s Client is looking for candidates to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This position is Commercial Underwriter, you will assist with all underwriting and claims responsibilities. This includes assisting with renewals, pre-renewal discussions and negotiations. Instruct insurers to renew policies, preparing and binding of presentations (Power Point), review loss ratio’s, reviewing and amending the motor values to the current values. Preparing pre-renewal and renewal comparisons for client presentations (Excel), capturing amendments and renewals on the Ski Host System.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Minimum 5 years relevant broker industry experience
- Experience must have been obtained within an insurance brokerage
- Exchange control knowledge will be advantageous
- Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, and Outlook and Power Point
- Must have sound product knowledge, Marine knowledge will to your advantage
