A leading company specializing in industrial equipment is seeking a skilled and service-oriented Technician to join their dynamic team based in Boksburg. Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair industrial floor cleaning equipment, including walk-behind and ride-on scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuums.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting both on-site and in the workshop.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machines.
- Provide technical support to the sales team and customer base.
- Keep accurate job cards, service records, and warranty documentation.
- Train end-users and clients on the correct operation and maintenance of machines.
- Support stock management of spares and consumables.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of technical experience in the floor cleaning equipment industry.
- Solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and battery-powered systems.
- Trade-tested technician or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
