RPO Recruitment’s client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Superintendent – Mining Systems & Technology in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will ensure data integrity, interfacing and system continuity of company-wide systems to support the total value chain from the planning phase through the mining phase, production phase, load out and dispatches.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure integration between production systems and financial systems through:
- Effective planning, organizing, and control
- Providing accurate business information on costs and statistical data
- Supporting improved decision-making and business improvement
- Managing and tracking information and process performance
- Enhancing productivity and product quality
- Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for System management and optimization
- Process management
- Plant and mining system operations
- Project management
- Reporting and data integrity
- Business information and dashboards
- Customer and stakeholder relations
- Staff supervision
- SHERQ adherence and compliance within own area of work
Requirements:
- B Degree / BTech Degree (NQF Level 7 – 360 credits) in IT / MIS / Business Systems or equivalent
- Certificate in Supervisory / Management / ARM or equivalent (NQF Level 4 – 150 credits)
- 5 years operational IT systems / data analysis / systems management / systems integration experience
- 2 years operational open cast mining industry experience
- 2 years operational Supervisory / Management stakeholder relations experience
