RPO Recruitment’s client, a leading contractor in South Africa is seeking an experienced Roads and Earthworks Foreman to manage workers, materials, and plant on site in Bethal. The role is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Site accommodation and additional allowances will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate construction teams to meet programmes and deadlines.
- Manage materials, plant, and site resources effectively.
- Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Conduct setting out, levelling, and oversee construction processes.
- Apply labour legislation and manage staff performance on site.
Requirements:
- Matric with Maths / NQF4 (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in roads and earthworks
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, plant, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and manage site teams safely
